Fans from across the region have been sending in photos of themselves wearing their Supercars supporters’ gear vying for the title of North Queensland’s biggest Supercars fan.

Zacharie Woodford ( Burdekin), Stacey Jones ( Bowen), Trish Heit ( Charters Towers), Gary Roveglia ( Ingham) and Fiona Coleman ( Townsville) have each won a Supercars merchandise pack and a three- day double pass to the Townsville 400.

The five regional finalists are now in the running to present a trophy to a Supercars driver on the podium at this year’s Watpac Townsville 400.

The major prize will also include a tour of Supercars team garages for two people, a grid- walk experience and grandstand tickets.

Supercars chief operating officer Shane Howard said it was a once- ina- lifetime opportunity.

“We were impressed by the num- ber of Supercars fans who entered and would like to congratulate the five regional winners,” Mr Howard said.
