NEW WAY TO REEL IN A BIG ONE

-

THERE’S a new concept in fishing – it’s called Jetfish. It’s about using a Yamaha WaveRunner fitted with Eskies and rod holders and heading out to fish with the freedom of a water vehicle.

Most people associate personal watercraft with wave jumping or cruising about ( let me tell you there is a lot of fun to be had cruising around the islands in one of the supercharged SVHO Cruisers) and Yamaha have developed a strong range of personal watercraft for sports, adventures and trekking. Now is the time to introduce the Jetfish concept.

The Yamaha Super Vortex High Output ( SVHO) engine is a purpose- built 1.8L, four- stroke, four- cylinder supercharged and intercooled motor that advances the performance gains made possible by its predecessor, the Yamaha Super High Output ( SHO) engine.

The new SVHO engine is the most technically- advanced motor designed for personal watercraft use and the most powerful engine ever in a Yamaha WaveRunner. Yamaha’s patented RiDE ( Reverse with Intuitive Deceleration Electronics) provides a new and innovative way to control your WaveRunner when running, turning, decelerating and reversing. Left and right controls make turning and reversing the craft very simple.

Turning back to Jetfish – we have ordered accessories to fit to our WaveRunner stock and we will be holding an information night soon. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for details.

So not only are Yamaha Waverunners fun to drive and enjoy close- up views of nearby islands, you can now enjoy the new Jetfish opportunities that will bring a new dimension to fishing in NQ.

Thanks for following my articles – all good things come to an end, so this will be my last for a while.
