Townsville Bulletin

All the news plus headphones

-

MORE readers are turning to the Townsville Bulletin for their news with 354,000 people engaging with us each month.

According to the latest Enhanced Media Metrics Australia data, the Bulletin has seen its audience grow 26 per cent over the past year.

News Corp’s regional network connects with over 3.6 million people each month across our print and online assets.

Bulletin editor Jenna Cairney said having a lively website, social media channels and print products meant more people were able to tap into the exclusive stories, local sport, breaking news and special features produced by the hardworking North Queensland team.

“Once upon a time the paper would land on your lawn each morning and that’s how it would end,” Ms Cairney said.

“But nowadays there are so many ways our audience can engage with us on different devices.

“We shoot video, have drone footage and our stories online often contain multimedia offerings such as podcasts or interactive graphics.”

If you aren’t already a subscriber, for as little as a dollar a day, readers have the opportunity to get a new pair of wireless Sennheiser noise- cancelling headphones when they sign up to the Bulletin.

The headphones are available for readers who sign up for a 12- month digital subscription, which costs just $ 7 a week for the first 12 months. The minimum cost is $ 364. Conditions apply. See details on page 2 or phone 1800 174 683 for more information.
