Fresh location is dough well spent

- CHRISTIE ANDERSON

THREE Loaves Bakery has found a new home at The Rising Sun Centre in Mundingburra.

The popular bakery, known for their cronuts, artisan bread and pastries, has been based at The Precinct in Idalia but hopes to open in the new, 70sq m premises in Ross River Rd next week.

Three Loaves Bakery owner Andrew Fraser said they had already received positive feedback about the move.

“It’s a central location and it’s al- ways busy here,” Mr Fraser said. “We’ve had a pretty good response to the move so far and our regulars are pretty happy with it because a lot of them are on this side of the bridge, so it’s closer for them.

“We’re freshening up the look of the store and there will also be a few new products and new range to keep things exciting.

“We’ve got some new pie and sausage roll flavours while the cronuts will definitely be staying.”

Ray White Commercial agents Alex Nicolosi and Troy Parker negotiated the lease.

Mr Nicolosi said it was great to see a new retailer join the Rising Sun Centre.

“It’s a busy little centre, so it will be great having your local baker here and then you’ve also got your local butcher next door,” he said.

“It’s good to see a new face in the retail centre and hopefully it will bring in some new people as well.

“It’s great as well that Three Loaves have come in and given it a bit of a facelift.”
