LANCINI Property and Development is forging ahead with its head office relocation from Garbutt to new premises at City Point in the Townsville CBD.

City Point, at the corner of Stokes and Stanley streets, has been redeveloped by Lancini Property and Development which has invested more $ 10 million to expand the building.

The expansion has created additional floor space for new tenants including the Lancini team and the Commonwealth Bank as well as provide new business and retail space.

An additional $ 700,000 is being spent on the new Lancini offices that will include about 292sq m of workspaces, offices and meeting rooms to house the company’s Townsville team.

The offices will boast a new state- of- the- art security system with a virtual reception, vertical gardens, undercover parking, staff amenities and food retailers such as Bambini Cafe, Zambrero’s and, most recently opened, Suki Poke Bowls. The Lancini team toured the new offices when the company’s staff of 35 from Brisbane, Yeppoon and Townsville attended the annual Lancini Property and Development conference in Townsville.

Lancini managing director Laurence Lancini said they were excited to be moving into their new CBD premises.

“We are heavily invested in Townsville and the surrounding areas and believe the relocation will benefit both our staff and other local CBD businesses,” Mr Lancini said.

“We are committed to sup- port the Townsville CBD revitalisation and we hope other businesses relocate to the CBD to take advantage of the benefits of having a workforce in the CBD.”

Lancini leasing agent Adam Martin said about 1916sq m was space was available for lease in City Point. He said the company was seeking expressions of interest from A- grade commercial tenants and large format retailers for uses such as large offices, services, banks and general retail which would take advantage of two street exposure, undercover carpark and amenities.

“City Point is located in the heart of the CBD within easy walking distance to everything with prime corner street exposure,” Mr Martin said.

“The building offers a convenient location that services both the business and residential population in the catchment.”

Mr Martin said City Point was one of the few Townsville CBD locations with easily accessed basement level carparking and lift access from the car park to all levels.
