Central move makes sense

LEGALSENSE NQ has opened a new office in the CBD, with the head of the law firm confident Townsville’s economy will improve.

It has moved into a 140sq m office on Level 4 of Walker House at 122 Walker St.

The new office is only 200m from the Townsville Courthouse.

Legalsense NQ principal Patrick Sutton said they wanted the new office to be in a central location with room for the law firm to grow.

“Walker House is a great location in the middle of town,” he said.

“Birds and Blooms is a fantastic cafe below the tenancy, where we can meet clients and referral partners in a more informal setting.

“There are undercover visitor carparks and there is plenty of parking out on Walker St. This makes the new office easily accessible for all clients.

“There is room for expansion here and we feel confident that there will be an improvement in the Townsville economy that will allow for growth in the business.”

Mr Sutton specialises in rural conveyancing transactions and is interested in the issues primary producers deal with, especially graziers and cane farmers.

While the law firm is based in Townsville, Mr Sutton often visits his rural clients closer to their homes while also supporting rural events.

His law firm offers agribusiness and rural services, residential property conveyancing, commercial property sales and purchases, will and estate planning, estate administration, companies and trusts, leasing, notary public, asset protection and business succession agreements.

Knight Frank leasing executive Dan Place said very little had to be done to the office space before Legalsense NQ could move in.

“The tenancy had an existing fit- out in place which was one of the attractions for the tenant, as was the core CBD location benefiting from immediate proximity to the CBD’s major amenities, including the law courts,” he said.
