Morgo the man of perfect match
COWBOYS star Michael Morgan has married his longtime love Brianna O’Toole in an intimate ceremony at one of North Queensland’s romantic getaways.
The wedding took place at Picnic Bay on Magnetic Island yesterday after Morgan popped the question to Brianna during a holiday in Japan last December.
The bride wore an elegant open- back dress with thin straps and was flanked by her sisters – Natalia and Alex – who were her bridesmaids.
Morgan’s brothers Ben and Daniel were groomsmen.
Several of Morgan’s past and present Cowboys teammates – including Johnathan Thurston, Gavin Cooper, Jake Granville, Lachlan Coote, Ray Thompson, Sam Hoare, Carlin Anderson and Ben Hampton – were guests at the wedding.
Cowboys chairman Laur- ence Lancini also attended.
Townsville radio personality Cliff “CK” Kern acted as celebrant.
Cronulla star Valentine Holmes made a rushed trip from New Zealand to attend the wedding. Holmes is the partner of Natalia and a good friend of Morgan’s.
Holmes was a member of the Australian Kangaroos team which was beaten by New Zealand in Saturday’s Test match in Auckland.
The newlyweds were holidaying over Christmas in Tokyo when they shared the news of their engagement with a photo on Instagram featuring the engagement ring.
“What do you do when you love your best friend more and more each day? You say yes when they ask you to marry them. Almost eight years in the making, we’re finally getting married,” Brianna wrote.
