MOTOCO RV Townsville has moved into a new location more than twice the size of its current home as the business rapidly grows.

From Monday, the caravan and RV dealer will be trading at 593 Ingham Rd, Mount St John.

The new, 10,000sq m premises is a huge upgrade from the 205 Charters Towers Rd, Hyde Park location, which was 400sq m.

Motoco RV Townsville dealer principal Jason Collins said they had run out of space at their Charters Towers Rd site.

“Primarily what we were looking for was the additional room, and this is more than twice the size,” he said.

“We were at the other location 12 years and the dealership has grown in that time, so we just needed more room.

“We’re also enthusiastic about the traffic flow out the front and the exposure, so we’re confident it will be a good spot for us.”

Motoco RV exclusively sells New Age Caravans and Avida Motorhomes.

It also does service and repairs and stocks parts.

Paul Dury and Mark Fitzgerald from Knight Frank negotiated the lease and said it was the perfect location for the growing business.

“The property offers Motoco Group a high traffic location and ease of access for customers and suppliers, which is very important for their business,” they said. “The facility offers all the requirements that Motoco were looking for and will allow them to grow for many years to come.”
