Man hit by car hospitalised
A MAN has been taken to hospital after a reported hit- andrun early yesterday morning.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said a man in his 40s claimed he was hit by a car at the Coles Express in Nathan St, Aitkenvale about 3.27am.
The spokeswoman said a witness saw the man run in front of cars before the incident.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was taken to Townsville Hospital in a stable condition.
“There were no life threatening injuries,” the QAS spokeswoman said.
