Amy among stars heading Way Out West

-

SOME of the biggest names in Aussie music will be among the line- up for a regional Queensland festival next year.

ARIA nominee Amy Shark, indie pop four- piece San Cisco and music icon John Williamson will perform at Winton’s Way Out West Fest in April with a swag of other Aussie greats and international acts.

Headliner Amy Shark said she was stoked to be joining the line- up.

“This year has been amazing and I’ve been lucky enough to visit and perform in some really special places around the world,” she said.

“In 2019 I’m really looking forward to adding Winton to that list.

“I’ve heard nothing but really great things about last year’s event and the town of Winton.”

US country stars Jon Pardi and Brett Eldredge, indie duo Lime Cordiale, legends Ross Wilson of Daddy Cool, Glenn Shorrock of the Little River Band and more will all make the trek to the Waltzing Matilda Centre in Queensland’s central west.

Way Out West Fest will re- turn to Winton with a special emphasis on supporting struggling farmers battling through drought, as well as delivering world- class entertainment to regional areas who otherwise would have to travel hundreds, if not thousands of kilometres to see their favourite acts.

Save the date – Winton’s Way Out West Fest will be from April 25- 28, 2019.
