Thor’s diet in new app
CHRIS Hemsworth’s famed ripped physique was back on show at Byron Bay beaches last week – and now the Australian actor is offering a glimpse at his Thor-ready diet.
Hemsworth’s new health and fitness app Centr will launch globally today.
Hemsworth’s personal trainer Luke Zocchi, who is one of the 20 experts contributing to Centr, has previously discussed designing Hemsworth’s meal plan around a diet rich in protein, fruit and vegetables, with an emphasis on wholegrains.
“I think there’s a big misconception around eating healthy or eating clean and so on is somehow boring and bland and tasteless. I guarantee you it’s the opposite,” Hemsworth says in Centr’s promotional video.
“The taste is far more interesting and your palate is going to scream for those particular foods instead of processed foods and sugars and so on.
“The meals are not only incredibly delicious and healthy but there’s an ease to making them, nothing is overly complicated – that was the motivation and the plan was to give people an opportunity to access healthier foods and make smarter choices with ease.”
Having wrapped his latest film Dhaka, Hemsworth is home, holidaying with close friend Matt Damon, with the pair in Melbourne yesterday.
Hemsworth has been spotted picking up groceries, doing the school run and surfing shirtless while Damon has also spent time surfing at popular surf spot The Pass.
Centr will be globally available via IOS app, Apple Watch and online from February 11, and offers a curated range of daily workouts, meal plans and meditation exercises from a curated group of experts, who are leaders in their field.
These include Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, Special Ops trainer Joseph Sakoda AKA ‘‘Da Rulk’’, Hollywood trainer Gunnar Peterson, “Plant Proof” podcast founder Simon Hill and former Biggest Loser trainer Tiffiny Hall.
