LAYING SEED TO GROW RICHES
A NEW financial services business has opened in South Townsville in a modern, energyefficient office space.
Seed Wealth has opened for business in a 140sq m premises at 7 Barlow St.
Seed Wealth senior financial planner James Pump said it offered a range of financial services including investments, superannuation, retirement planning and wealth protection.
“We offer a face-to-face service, so it’s not just over the phone,” he said.
“We’re also aware there is a market that do want to invest with a green theme, so we do have that capacity as well.”
Seed Wealth also provides face-to-face appointments across North Queensland and has an office in Bowen, where it has a large client base.
Mr Pump said the building’s five-star energy rating was one of the features that attracted it to the South Townsville premises.
“We liked that it was energy efficient and that there is also so much natural light,” Mr Pump said.
“It’s fresh, modern and fits in with our overall theme.
“We didn’t feel we necessarily needed a shopfront because people usually find us through recommendations or word of mouth, rather that walking in off the street.”
Colliers International Townsville agent Shaun Mclaren, who negotiated the lease, said the office catered to the needs of Seed Wealth and only a minimal fit-out was needed.
“This is a new professional office tenancy with a very modern fit out and a great location close to the CBD,” he said.
“It suited their business.”
