Hoax truly is lot of hot air
A FEW weeks ago my “Go Galilee” plea to local business leaders and MPS (to build the original Rinehart and Adani super railway to Abbot Point; BAP, to open up all the Galilee, feeding the originally planned Bowen multi-user port and industrial estate), has yet to publicly surface.
Yet this new Queensland Labor (“we now love coal”) government is still very ripe for influencing through to their election time to back this.
It would provide decades of royalty wealth with new dams if the original Galilee to BAP rail is built and it won’t cost them a cent if they use federal NAIF funds for a new Queensland asset. (They could even flog it off in 10 years like BAP to pay down Queensland debt).
But I’m still gobsmacked by so many people still believing all they are told about global warming, climate change and carbon dioxide by the mainstream media. As a chemical engineer working in heat transfer for 35-plus years all over the world, I can tell you it’s all a hoax not seen since the like of the Dutch tulip scandal.
Without CO2 in the atmosphere, nearly all human life and plant life would collapse on this planet.
Each of our breaths, emits a huge quantity of CO2 into the atmosphere (some >40,000 ppm versus 400ppm already there). It is very clear that the air we expire does not kill anyone standing in front of us.
During the Jurassic and Triassic periods the CO2 level rose to values sometimes of the order of 7000, 8000, 9000ppm, considerably exceeding the paltry 400ppm that we have today. Not only did life exist, in those far-off times when CO2 was present in large concentrations in the atmosphere, but ferns commonly attained heights of 25m.
Although CO2 from man-made sources (fossil fuel burning etc) represents only 3 per cent of the atmosphere’s paltry 400ppm, there still exists a relentless crusade to reduce CO2 by anti-coal activists and ill-informed governments because of a so-called “greenhouse effect”.
This is misguided and erroneous. The major greenhouse gas in the atmosphere is not CO2, it is water vapour, which is 10 times more potent than CO2 in its greenhouse effect.
These facts are taught at school and at university, but so-called “climate scientists” (their wages always dependent on government subsidies), still manage to incriminate CO2 alongside this learning, that presents an exacerbated CO2 warming effect through feedback loops of other greenhouse effects in doctored UN IPCC computer models.
Al Gore’s $320,000 funded Queensland Labor Government visit just goes to show how this impostor still makes money out of this AGW hoax.
As a scientist I deeply regret that our Western government societies have succeeded in cultivating such misinformation about AGW and ultimately a mistrust of science.
I mean, just apply a little common sense to this anti-coal fossil fuel hysteria.
Earth’s temperatures vary day to day by +/-40C. Yet this hysteria is based on an 0.8C average temperature increase since 1880 and unproven computer models (UN IPCC), predicting 1.5-3C increase (earlier computer models were 3-6C), over the next 30 years.
Seeing brainwashed teenagers and university students protesting against Adani with no knowledge of any
AGW empirical evidence, influence governments on huge energy policy decisions (on a fraud), is still gobsmacking to me.
Go Galilee and Bradfield Scheme dams and please and stop the anti-coal and AGW nonsense.
