Outsourcing is insane

-

A buried story in Saturday’s ( TB, 12/10) page 23 alerted us to 160 big four bank branch closures.

The rot and mass exodus of jobs continues.

Do any readers know that many companies now get ordinary bookwork done overseas?

Hundreds of firms now find it cheaper to send all HR, wage payments, account payments and tax audits to a worker in the Philippines or India.

The big banks do it. Even our own tax department does it.

When will we all wake up and say “enough”?

If you want your services, your welfare, your health and education, then that must come from tax paid by workers.

This is not rocket science, yet it is escaping our politicians and unions.

The Liberal Party and its global citizen mantra do not care for the people who will be out of a job when the banks close branches.

The Labor/green/union alliance does not make any inroads or changes when it can.

This migration of jobs, while we are supposed to accept immigrants into our country, borders on the insane.

It all started with Telstra sending hundreds of thousands of jobs to India and the Philippines.

It came in slow, and just look at the nightmare of customer service we have from Telstra.

It was just a trickle a decade ago but now it is more than a 500-flood event – and we are just sitting back and accepting it.

I believe in a strong and impartial union, however, as a breeding ground for more Labor MPS, we are getting nothing from unions.

Liberals are all for this, as they believe the “market will sort it”.

When hundreds of thousands of school leavers hit our jobs market in a few months, what are they supposed to do?

One teacher friend of mine said that she had to tell them how to apply to Centrelink, because truthfully their chances of landing a job are so limited that they have no hope.

I made a few inquiries to companies that I deal with and I was shocked at how many of them no longer employ Australians to do office work.

Banks, telcos, major companies that are happy to take our money, but support a foreign land and people.

They have nothing to fear from any government, because they all say it is OK to rob Australia but give a job to an overseas person who will never contribute to our country.

Our interest rates are nearly zero, our growth is nearly zero, our future jobs growth is under attack from climate extremists who have nothing to fear.

The things in our economy that are wrong are monumental, yet it does not take monumental brains to fix it.

We just need reality, facts and justice to be applied, rather than the weak and shallow approach that is designed to get a party elected, but not deliver for the people who vote.
