Couple plotting nuptials
POWER couple Megan Gale, 44, and Shaun Hampson, 31, are still going strong after nearly a decade together.
The smitten pair, who are parents to children River, 5, and two-year-old Rosie, will celebrate their ninth anniversary next month and the model said good communication and regular date nights were key to maintaining their solid foundation.
“Communication utely key,” she said.
“We never let issues fester or dismiss things.
“We talk things through with respect and with a shared goal of resolving things.
“We also make time for one another whenever possible.”
Former AFL star Hampson proposed to Australia’s Next Top Model host Gale two years ago, however the couple are yet to tie the knot because they have been busy with their respective careers.
In addition to the couple owning a cafe together, Ascot Food Store, Gale is the brains is absolbehind skincare range Mindful Life and she recently teamed up with Amazon for the Amazon Hub launch in Australia.
Meanwhile, Hampson starred on Survivor this year and has partnerships with Fitness First and Movember.
They are now planning a small wedding to be held next year.
The couple won’t be having more children and Gale previously revealed that she had mixed feelings about it.
“Shaun and I have (un)officially said we’ve closed up the baby-making shop,” she wrote on Instagram.
“(Meaning he’s happy as is – done and dusted) I guess, for the most part, I am too … But as a woman. my God being pregnant and giving birth is such an incredible experience and an absolute gift that I’ll admit I’m finding it a little challenging to get my head (and heart) around the fact that this is it.”
The couple began dating in 2011, months after Gale’s highprofile split from media personality Andy Lee.
