Experience lands role

-

THREE years of investment by Knight Frank in technology to increase protection for commercial landlords has attracted a leading asset manager to the business.

Paul Tim So joins Knight Frank in Townsville after nearly 20 years of working with some of the largest industrial tenants in Australia with Brad Webb’s BM Webb Group.

“We recognise Brad Webb as one of the most innovative industrial developers in Australia and Paul brings many of the skills and experiences learned alongside Brad to our management portfolio,” said Craig Stack, senior partner with Knight Frank in North Queensland.

“Our retail, commercial and industrial portfolio is valued at close to $700 million so it is very important that our people and our systems are worthy of the responsibilities associated with the portfolio.”

Knight Frank has developed technology that gives real-time property information, helps owners analyse repair, maintenance and operating costs and gives a visual history of an asset.

Mr Tim So is well known in Townsville commercial property circles.

“The operating requirements for many industrial enterprises are often changing as transport forms and logistics operations improve, so working with landlords and with the tenants to increase efficiencies is really important now,” Mr Tim So said.

“I am looking forward to working with Knight Frank, including with the agency team to help match the tenant requirement and landlord stock.”

Knight Frank agency director Paul Dury said they were focused on improved outcomes for tenants across all sectors and having Mr Tim So’s experience would be beneficial.
