Hard to believe Powerlink has been asleep at the wheel as sustainable energy had been developed. To now say that the system can’t cope, once major generators are built, just is beyond belief.

Good on you Sam Cox – return of dump vouchers and Jensen transfer station. You have my vote.

So who will be our mayor after Saturday? All four rightly or wrongly carry some political baggage. Incumbent Jenny Hill – member of ALP, “on the nose” on crime state government. Sam Cox – backbench MP with the hated Newman job cutting government. Greg Dowling – backed by the disliked in Townsville closed nickel refinery owner Clive Palmer. Chris Eastaughffe – strongly against the location of the badly needed 1000 jobs creating battery plant. Eeny meeny miny moe.

Very good article by Mike Abraham. I agree totally. Watch DVDS and not all the hype on the news you will be happier. We have had many disasters in my lifetime they all pass. My motto don’t worry be happy.

As the clock ticks on towards one thirty, I would be normally getting ready to go to the local watering hole and have my three daily schooners with our circle of knowledge, by the look of the number of cars in the Willows shopping centre car park and the amount of people coming out with loaded trolleys, the sacrifice some of us will be making with the normality in our lives will be in vain.
