I’ll take the LNP plan to get this city up and running again. Labor are killing us. BRUCE AITKENVAKE

To the 3 stooges – is Yurika sourcing the solar panels for Domain Central from China? And how much coal fired energy will be used to produce the solar panels? I imagine the silence will be deafening. PHANTOM 4817.

Why not give Clive fair go. He might be at the back of the class but at least he’s put his hand up, more than our current elected officials (are not doing anything) and anything is better than this mob aren’t doing. Power hungry.

CRIS WULGURU.

I thought CUBIC were a global company with a small local office in Townsville? I guess that’s “local” compared to a company with it’s headquarters on another planet.

MAX CRANBROOK JDT 4817: true statement, I to do not have ‘smart’ phone, also think I am ‘smart’ not to have one! ABBIE, TVL.

28 days since Townsville had a case of coronavirus. Golly gee, do you honestly think Brisbane will have the same level of restrictions when they hit 28 days? Nah! Queensland’s a big state, one size does not fit all. But Huey, Dewey &

Louie our clayton’s reps, just agree with whatever Brisbane decrees. Rusted On’s rank & file equally to blame.

PEDRO CRANBROOK

I am not surprised that the premier and her govt of covid 19 bug huggers won’t allow us in the disease free areas to go back to normal because it would mean the crime rate would soar again.

LEIGH 4812

Fantastic to read about Domain Central going fully renewable. I hope they’re considering solar shade structures, as anyone who’s been there on a hot day will know how much sun the car park gets.

STEVE, BELGIAN GARDENS

Are these on-country programs the same ones the government shut down? Now it will cost twice as much to restart and set up. Queensland the smart state.

CHRIS 4810

To Sandra Chesney, Clive could have paid the wages of the QNI employees, but instead he spent much more on legal fees and political campaigns . He ran 151 candidates knowing that he would not get one seat yet he kept

Labor out and gave power to the LNP. All he has to do is pay the rent at the port and we all benefit. He can’t buy his way in, until he understands he will never win the respect of the people.

STEVO 4817.

JDT, yes, not everyone has a smart phone or the internet. The NBN put me in the too hard basket so, still no internet connection at my residence. Yes technology is not in the fast lane.

M J REYNOLDS MT LOUISA

Richard Gledhill in the Bully today 7/5, just brilliant and so true about the courts letting us all down regarding law and order.

THOMAS WEST END 4810.

Region, what region? They don’t exist under this Trad Palaszczuk goverment. So we are 28 days CovidFree, what about Mount Isa, Cloncurry and Hughenden that have never had a case? It’s one size fits all under their doctrinaire and we have 3 of their loyal puppets to prove it. WW. C/JONG.

Jase Avale, when I worked shift work a “double shift” meant exactly that; work a full shift and then staying at work to work through an additional shift. Teachers are not doing double shifts. They are probably multi tasking and even by working through the school holidays they would still have holidays at year’s end the same as most other workers.

?? ?? Scott Stewart’s statement on Wednesday night’s news, “We’re listening to North Queenslanders with regards the relaxing of corvid 19 restrictions”, unfortunately, with the same ears they listened to the community’s concerns about youth crime. Unless all the Labor pollies have been fitted with hearing aids the same outcomes will be the result, bugger all. GEC 4814
