Hotel work turns heads
THE Seaview Hotel is undergoing a major redevelopment, one that could be a game changer for the venue when it reopens its doors.
The hotel christened its new drive-through last week, with the flashy attraction already turning heads in the area.
Hotel manager Catrina Schell said it was great to get the drive-through moving.
“It’s going to draw attention, it looks pretty bloody good,” Ms Schell said.

Ms Schell said the business was hoping the renovations would be complete by late August or early September.
The Seaview Hotel, like a lot of other venues, has July 10 circled in its calendar as its comeback date, though Ms Schell said she hoped the date could be brought forward, like Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk did with the stage two restrictions. where the big
“They might ward to before days,” she said.
“We really hope they do so we can catch that crowd.
“We’re chomping at the bit to get back because it’s going to be good for both customers and staff.”
The Seaview Hotel isn’t the only Strand business ramping up in preparation for opening, with Longboard Bar and Grill set to reopen its doors this Friday.
