China streets ahead

-

I WAS recently sent an email detailing how China is leaving us for dead, in dams and hydro power, roads and rail.

China will spend $900 billion (world economic forum stats), in 68 countries.

They claim it will hail a new era of globalisation and benefit everyone.

Really? I bet if you asked the democracy protesters in Hong Kong they might have a different view.

What I cannot understand, is how on earth did our politicians allow this madness to happen?

We have Andrew Robb from the Liberal Party selling the Port of Darwin, Sam Dastyari of Labor falling on his sword and admitting to receiving gifts from Chinese businesses.

Then Nick Xenophon, the independent MP who left Canberra, (remember him walking out of Parliament House with a cardboard cutout of himself), to run his law firm, and guess who he represents in Australia? Huawei.

Yep, with China holding nine of the 20 largest tech companies in the world, Nick has got himself the mother of all pay days.

So, we think those little people who ‘work’ in Canberra actually work for us. Without the heavy burden of green and red tape, China is surging ahead in every single facet of infrastructure that you can imagine.

Why the sudden surge of defence spending in Australia, have you asked your local member that? Well, I would hazard a wild guess, that we in the West have been asleep at the wheel for way to long.

America now is not the leader in defence, China is. We have no capability of defending ourselves against an onslaught from China, who does not have to fire one single bullet at anyone in the world.

The Chinese influence is spreading to every single country on earth, while we scurry to buy the $2 goods to satisfy our hunger for ‘stuff’. They build more ‘stuff’, than any country on earth, all because we ran like lambs to the slaughter for consumer goods, that made China massively rich beyond anyone’s wildest dreams.

Currently there are over 87,000 dams in China, with hydro power the largest green source of energy. They only rank third for solar energy, and believe it or not Morocco and India beat China for solar energy.

It is clear, without socialist, left wing whingers, much can get done.

We are allowing the sale of water, farms, roads, hospitals to a country who will not allow fair elections or proper legal process. While the West tears itself apart with riots and demonstrations about everything that is not allowed in China, China is just plodding away taking what they want.

We here in the North cannot even get one single dam built because even the suggestion of it offends the Left/ Greens. China sells and makes more exports than nearly all of the Western world combined, their wealth was handed to them by Western politicians who are interested in the next election, and not the next generation.
