66yo facing trespass charges
AT 8.15pm on Tuesday, August 18, Ayr Police were called to an address in Melbourne Street, Ayr. A Burdekin man, 66, was arrested and charged for trespass and two counts of wilful damage. He was released on bail and will appear in Ayr Magistrates Court on October 12.
DRUG-DRIVING
AT 8.40pm on Thursday, August 27, officers from the Ayr Road Policing Unit intercepted a vehicle in Queen Street, Ayr. The driver, a 27-year-old Townsville man, was issued a notice to appear for driving with a relevant drug in his saliva. He will appear in Ayr Magistrates Court on October 26.
STEALING, FRAUD
AT 12.30am on August 28, Ayr Police were conducting investigations when they found a Burdekin woman, 46. She was charged with two counts of stealing and one count each of receiving tainted property and fraud. She was released on bail to appear in Ayr Magistrates Court on October 12.

AT 12.40am on Saturday, August 29, Ayr Police intercepted a vehicle in Wickham Street,
Ayr. The driver, a 32-year-old Burdekin man, was issued a notice to appear for driving with a relevant drug in his saliva and will face Ayr Magistrates Court on October 26.

AT 8.05pm on Saturday, August 29, Ayr Police intercepted a vehicle in Woods Street, Ayr. The driver, a 36-year-old Burdekin man, was issued a notice to appear for driving with a relevant drug in his saliva and face Ayr Magistrates Court on October 26.
TOURIST CHARGED
ABOUT 10.30pm on Saturday, August 29, Ayr Police were called to a disturbance in Charles Street, Ayr. As a result a 23-year-old tourist was arrested and charged with public nuisance. He was released on bail to appear in Ayr Magistrates Court on September 14.
NOTICE TO APPEAR
AT 12.50am on Sunday, August 30, Ayr Police intercepted a vehicle on Bruce Highway, Ayr. The driver, a 31-year-old Mackay man, was issued a notice to appear for drink driving, .14.
He will face Ayr Magistrates Court on October 12.
