Break chains to China

-

WHILE the “China virus” rages still throughout the world, we get the Victorian government signing up with Communist China for a massive “Belt and Road project”.

Most of us, who are trying to keep our heads above the sinking virus-driven daily grind, have little time for the wayward decisions by Victoria.

Maybe we need just a second to actually look at what is really happening.

The Belt and Road project is 100 per cent funded by Communist China. It technically is a non-binding agreement for Victoria to be actively involved with taking money for major projects like ports, roads and rail.

Two Chinese firms are part of the bids for the $16 billion North-east link.

We can bring the Victorian Labor Government to task for this outrage; however, the Liberal party have got more than the usual snout in the trough.

Bellamy’s Australia, which is one of Australia’s largest manufacturers of baby formula, has now passed into Chinese hands. The Liberal party approved the sale, saying they found no problem with this.

We have levels of Chinese influence right across our major political parties.

Andrew Robb (former foreign affairs minister, retired with massive salary and pension) who works for a Chinese company, negotiated the deal to sell the Port of Darwin.

Sam Dastyari, Labor senator, had to resign because of Chinese involvement with him. Nick Xenophon famously left parliament, to become the legal representative for Huawei. We all know Huawei, the massive Chinese conglomerate, founded by former Chinese Liberation Army Regimental chief Ren Zhengfei.

This situation is more tragic when we know there is an airfield in Western Australia that is 52 per cent owned by China Southern Airlines.

The local council sold the airfield off in 1995 to train Chinese pilots.

You can view the interview with a local councillor who laughs that it was sold for next to nothing because it was costing the council money.

So we have all major parties, and all levels of government in Australia chained to China and its money.

Make no mistake, we gain nothing other than a politician saying they have brought money and investment to our country.

Australians cannot get lazy off the Chinese dollar.

We cannot allow the political protected elite to get brownie points off the back of our soldiers who fought to ensure we could have a freedom that so few in our world enjoy.

At some stage, this kind of weak treason must stop, the more we allow, the more we lose.

If so many social media posts and letters want the Chinese influence to stop, if the ordinary Aussie battler is sick and tired of seeing the country we once owned fade away, then who is making the decisions that allow it? The very politicians who we elect to protect us.

Apart from a minor party or two, that is totally against the selling of our country, only the everyday battler can change this. It is called the ballot box and all you need is a pen.
