Escape Academy Townsville

Choose from three different experience­s, gather a team, enter a new world, decipher clues and escape in 60 minutes. Are you up to the challenge?

Luxe Holiday Pass

Barra Fun Park

Set among 25 acres of bushland and countrysid­e, the Barra Fun Park has a huge inflatable waterpark, slip ’n’ slide, fishing ponds for barramundi, jumping pillow, paddle boats, banana boat rides and an inline cable skis for wakeboarde­rs.

Spring Flower Pot Planting

Presented by Fairfield Central Shopping Centre, children will be able to choose flower seedlings and plant them into their very own pot plant. Once planted, they will be able to decorate their pot in their own, , unique style.

When: Tuesday, September 22 to Friday, September 25, Tuesday September 29 to Wednesday September 30, Friday October 2 to Saturday October 3. Sessions available at 10am, 11am, 12pm and 1pm

Rainbow Tie Dye Workshops

Your child will learn about colours in a fun and engaging way, guiding them through the tie dying process to create their very own rainbow masterpiec­e.

Animal Awareness Junior Education

Citylibrar­ies and Townsville Animal Care and Adoption Centre is holding an interactiv­e Junior Education Program. Learn what pets need and how to safely y interact ct with animals. Resident puppies Harmony and Sunny will be there to say hello.

When: Thursday September 24, two sessions are available at 9.30am or 11am.

Reading to Pets

Citylibrar­ies and Townsville Animal Care and Adoption Centre are hosting a Reading to Pets session. Reading to pets can boost communicat­ion and reading skills, teach responsibi­lity as well as reduce anxiety and stress in children and pets.
