I don’t give a rat’s what GP South says, I’ve had a gutful of out-of-sync traffic lights, I encounter them in any direction from my place, at any time. I’ve never had this trouble in any other town or city in Qld. In my opinion, the person responsible for the timing should be sacked, and replace him or her with someone who knows what they’re doing. D. BILTON W/END

I’m only aware of one seat where the Greens will be preferenced by LNP and that is to get rid of Trad, who only survived last time through LNP preferences. The trouble with the KAP is they have history of preferencing Labor and One Nation is a loose cannon. Over and above everything, we need to be rid of the Palaszcuk circus. JEFF, CONDON.

What a golden opportunity the Lions have been given to win this years premiership. No excuses if you lose, everything is to your advantage. What a burden to carry into a game. Go get em tiges. Tiger Lil, Kelso

GPSOUTH perhaps you can explain why the lights on Bundock and Old Common Road, West school, Iggy Park, Ogden St and Denham St turn red when there’s no cars or people crossing. They should be set to sensor not timers why this hasn’t happened is just lack of maintenance. JC KIRWAN

So that’s the best staunch KAP supporter Debra Gibson can come at me with? Some drawn out ramblings about a non existent LNP greens deal? The LNP are putting Jackie

Trad last in South Brisbane due to the havoc she has wreaked in North Queensland. This is the only case and as you know the LNP and the greens are mortal enemies. Debra, you know there’s a deal and my guess is you, like all North Queenslanders are very disappointed KAP sold us out.

Instead of attacking me in your weekly column you should be asking Robbie Katter to rule it out. DALE ATKINSON 4818

Risk assessment on e-scooters. With all the COVID rules in place, leaving so many businesses unable to operate or operate at a profitable capacity, how on earth can people sharing helmets be considered COVID safe. BEWILDERED 4816

“Flooding on way: Bureau”, TB, 1/10. Wait, what? La Nina is a cooling cycle but we’re going to have more cyclones? I thought warming caused more cyclones? Whatever happened to “settled science”? MINER, KELSO

In what parallel universe is GPSOUTH living, that he/she is able to drive from Bergin Rd to Domain and get every green light. Maybe you drive at 2am when there is no other traffic. The majority of people can’t be wrong about the timing of the lights. Are you by chance a traffic light programmer. MG 4814

It’s no surprise the global covid lockdowns reduced coal demand (TB, 1/10). Now, how long before the lefties demand climate lockdowns? AURELLA, 4812
