Four questions for Aaron Harper, where are our 53 front line coppers promised before the last election, where is the $195 million for stage 2 of the Haughton Pipeline the Premier decided to lay without Fed funds. Why do you claim you delivered stage 2 Riverway Drive when you actually haven’t and why like most people you would have known the main Douglas water pipeline under that section of the road had to be relocated but obviously kept that silent. RON KELSO.

So I got a call from Aaron Harper’s office wanting to talk to me about my application for a postal vote. The thing is I have never voted Labor or applied through Labor before. How did they get my info? CONFUSED TOM, 4817

If Scott Stewart had a backbone he would have told Minister Ryan to remove the “for sale” sign himself, but it’s always been jelly. The real agenda was to imply the LNP would sell assets if elected, when many of us still remember Labor premier Anna Bligh was the only one to do so. WW. C/jong.

So LNP hopeful N Marr thinks LNP voters support VAD and would be happy she is prepared to cross the floor and help Labor pass this unethical unlawful Act. No No No. LYN CRANBROOK

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and Mr Morrison wasn’t the foreman, but he is the Prime Minister of Australia and thank goodness the right person to get our workforce and economy up and running, a lot of our so-called politicans think they are captains, but our PM is a leader, and will get it done. CRIS WULGURU

I wonder if Morrison did not go to visit Trump, would he have called out China in the virus. Even the US and EU knew better to shut up because of trade with China. It was always going to come to a head after the virus, as Trump has all ready said, re-elected he will extract revenge. The Greens must be rolling around with delight and the industry and government crying in the budgets, and there's still more to come. STEPHEN R. WEST END.

The wretched life story of the teen offender in today's (15/10) paper perfectly Illustrates why the solution to crime needs to be more than a simplistic carceral approach. STEVE, BELGIAN GARDENS

What a load of BS these government departments and scientists go on about the reef. Really over half of the coral has died in the last 25 yrs? We have more important things to think about at present. The $4bn industry doesn't wash with me anymore when we don't have international tourists. Then again during Covid the primary industries haven't lost one day so far and propped up Qld's economy. SAM 4850
