TOWERS PLAYERS

DO YOU love a good tune? Have you got the urge to perform on stage? Then it’s time to book in your audition with the Towers Players for their upcoming production of Little Shop of Horrors.

Charters Towers males and females aged 15 or older are invited to take part in auditions, which will be held on Saturday, November 28, from 9am.

There are 15-minute audition slots available and people are asked to identify the role they want in the show.

Prospective cast members will be expected to sing the first verse and chorus of a song from that character, plus perform a short piece of dialogue.

Towers Players president Allan Georgee said the cast for Little Shop of Horrors was small, with nine lead roles, three puppeteers and six dancers and singers in the chorus.

He said the theatre company was also seeking people interested in helping with backstage, set construction, decoration and make up.

Anyone interested should message the Towers Players Facebook page for a timeslot.
