Townsville Bulletin

Fresh look for Bully’s website

-

READERS can discover a whole new townsvillebulletin.com.au.

Townsville’s premier news, sport, entertainment and information website has been rebuilt from the ground up to be faster, smarter, less congested and much more user-friendly.

It’s also designed to help you quickly find the local news that matters to you.

One of the key benefits of the new website is that it is much faster.

Stories load faster and the layout is cleaner.

There is also better national and state sports coverage, more columnists, more expert money and business advice, and great lifestyle and entertainment content.

Staying informed about what’s happening where you live is important.

This is the driving force behind a new feature, My News Feed, that allows subscribers to find more stories that matter to them. It’s an exciting new premium feature for subscribers.

You’ll notice Follow buttons next to journalist names on stories, and across sections on the website and mobile site.

Allowing you to become the editor of your own feed, the new Follow option gives you the power to customise My News Feed to stay across the latest topics, events and journalists that matter to you.

Our reporters cover every corner of this wonderful city. Our new site goes further than ever to help you find out what’s going on in your area. Navigate to the ‘Local’ tab at the top of our page and you can choose to see news from the different regions.

You can also choose to follow these new sections in your My News Feed.

If you want to personalise your homepage based on where you live, you can enter your postcode in My Local on the homepage, to see stories from your area and easily navigate to your My Local page.

We’ve also retained the favourite features of our existing website, including the digital edition, which provides readers with an online copy of that day’s print edition of the Townsville Bulletin.

Find it in the ‘ Read Today’s Paper’ tab at the top left of our new site.
