GEANEY TURNS TO BELLE

-

REAL estate brand Belle Property has entered the Townsville market, led by local principal Ella Geaney who previously operated under the Ray White Geaney Property Group.

Sydney-based Belle Property chief executive Peter Hanscomb said they were thrilled to grow their North Queensland operations to include two well-established teams in Townsville.

Belle Property will operate from the former Ray White branded offices in Ingham Rd, West End, and at the corner of Lionel Turner Drive and Mount Low Parkway, Bushland Beach.

“Ella Geaney is an awardwinning leader in the local real estate market, and I look forward to seeing further growth of Ella’s highly successful business and strong client base under our national boutique brand,” Mr Hanscomb said.

Ms Geaney has played a pivotal role in the local real estate market, having worked in sales and property management for 27 years, in addition to being an auctioneer.

Ms Geaney said they felt the region deserved a premium real estate brand and Belle Property stood apart from the crowd.

“I have every confidence the Belle Property brand will be well received locally with clients embracing our new look and feel, while dealing with the same expert team they have come to trust,” she said.

Ms Geaney said Townsville was experiencing an influx of buyers and renters looking for a lifestyle sea change with the added bonus of escaping city lockdowns.

“Townsville’s real estate market is fiercely competitive. There’s a shortage of stock for sale, with properties spending an average of just seven days on the market and achieving

prices well above expectation,” she said. “There’s also a shortage of rentals with a vacancy rate of less than 1 per cent and rental yield between 6 and 10 per cent.”

Belle Property supports more than 140 Belle Property and Hockingstuart offices across NSW, Queensland, the ACT, Victoria and South Australia.
