Feel the Rush and register

- TRUDY BROWN

TOWERS Rush is back.

It’s the annual event that turns Charters Towers into one huge playground.

Now in its seventh year, Towers Rush is four hours of fun-filled action for all ages and fitness levels.

Starting at 8.30am on Sunday, October 10, teams of between two and five people will gather at the showgrounds before setting off to navigate the far reaches of Charters Towers.

Along the way the teams will complete a variety of challenges and activities with lots of prizes up for grabs.

Charters Towers Regional Councillor Kate Hastie said the event was fantastic for the region.

“The event attracts hundreds of people from around the region, including Townsville and provides a variety of activities.

“It’s suitable for everyone from the young, to the young at heart, intellectuals and the keen athlete. Come out and give it a go and enjoy a day of great family fun.”
