TOWNSVILLE Marine Logistics has taken up a long-term tenancy on the ground floor of prominent Townsville CBD commercial office building River Quays.

TML has secured a 288 sqm office space at River Quays, which is located at 3-17 Tomlins St, through Sentinel Property Group leasing executive Michael Sterling.

The lease is for five years. The seven-storey River Quays building offers a net lettable area of 9414 sqm and is leased to national and global tenants including Adani, the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture, Telstra and Aecom.

Sentinel purchased River Quays for $28.6m in December 2017, a few months after Adani moved into the building to establish its national headquarters.

River Quays is one of Townsville’s most prominent office buildings and has undergone extensive recent refurbishments, including the installation of a solar power system, new signage for Telstra, Adani and Aecom as well as repainting the building externally.

Founded in Townsville, TML is a stevedoring and logistics provider. It is a subsidiary of Korea Zinc Company Ltd and part of an expanding group of Australian companies.

In 2019, TML commenced operations in providing port operation services to Sun Metals Zinc Refinery and now has established other customer arrangements in mining and port operations.

It provides stevedoring services for most cargo types including break bulk, bulk products and containers.

Established in 2010, Brisbane-based Sentinel Property Group is an Australian property investment firm focused on commercial and industrial property trusts.
