Have you ever dieted?

Yes, and it was for the show (Cruel Intentions). I cut out milk, gluten, alcohol, fried foods, bread or sugar for eight weeks. It was tough for the first few weeks but it’s amazing how quickly your body adapts.

Have you ever had a crush on someone famous or a fictional character?

In my early teens I had a huge crush on

Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar), but my current celebrity crush would have to be Matt Bomer. Oh God, it is out there now.

First place you visited overseas?

It was on a school trip to Yogyakarta, Indonesia. And the highlight would have to be visiting the Borobudur temple at sunrise.

What would you tell your 10-year-old self?

Trust your instincts, stop doubting and be more kind to yourself, never stop asking questions, and give up on the whole parents buying you a dog thing.

What is your absolute blowout meal?

Besides a late-night, double cheeseburger, my go-to/last meal on Earth would have to be a very high-end cheeseboard. Honestly, I would have it for every meal if I could.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the term ‘influencer’?

I don’t think I would be alone here but it would have to be ‘influenza’.

If you could transport yourself anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?

Lying on a beach in Italy with a chilled Negroni in hand while picking at a caprese salad. Italy is one of my most favourite destinations. The food, people, scenery and chilled vibe is definitely my jam.

Are you ticklish?

I am absolutely ticklish – I think for my own safety and for those around me I won’t disclose the locations.

If you could go back in time for a day, what date would you go back to?

For a guaranteed good time, Beyonce’s 2018 performance at Coachella.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I’m not sure if I would say ‘love’ at first sight but an initial feeling or connection toward someone, absolutely.

What would you do if you won $20m?

I would share some of the winnings with my family, take the folks on a trip overseas and buy one or two properties to set me up long term. A place in Italy would be ideal, too.

Do you have a pet hate?

It’s pretty petty, but it would be people being late. Especially if they haven’t informed you and don’t apologise.

Any irrational fears?

I’m terrified of sharks. I always make sure there is someone further out than me when swimming. But I’d love to go shark cage diving. To really drive home that fear.

Cruel Intentions: The ‘90s Musical opens at Sydney’s State Theatre on

Friday, before Brisbane and Adelaide later in the year
