THEY KNEW THE CHALLENGE

-

I am sick and tired of hearing the Labor Party saying how they inherited the huge debt from the Morrison government. They knew that this huge debt was due to the Covid pandemic and how they, the coalition kept Australia safe and functioning and were a leading example throughout the world.

We were the envy of the worldJobkeeper and Jobseeker etc, vaccines galore except Victoria whose constant lockdowns were disastrous and Queenslands as well and how the Qld Health Officer said she would not risk giving 18 year olds the vaccine.

She is now the Governor of Qld - , reward for spreading fear in the community as did some of the other chief health officers.

Who was it that kept everything going? The Liberal National Coalition.

The Labor party knew the size of the deficit as did everyone in Australia. Why did they not budget accordingly? The cost of fuel, what no excise saving? Why does diesel cost 50 cents more than regular fuel?

I still have a carbide lamp that we used to use in the late 40s and 50s in our business, because of the electrical blackouts then.

I suggest everyone invest in a box of candles because we are going to need them in the future because of the Labor and Greens policies on Global warming.

While talking Labor and

Greens, usually they are people who have hated everyone who has achieved anything they wanted to. Socialists.

I am tired of hearing about being brought up in a council flat by a single mother. Many others have too. My mother was born In Australia in Home Hill, and lived in a house with a dirt floor.

My father arrived in Australia in 1930, penniless, hungry and no place to live until an old Italian man in Ingham took him in. He then worked for 6 months for food and lodging in a tin shed and a debt to pay for his trip to Australia.

These Greens, do they think they are the only ones who care for the environment? We all do. Grow up Australia. You will get nothing for nothing. Labor and Greens will destroy our wonderful country. If they do not embrace nuclear and coal we will decline into a 3rd world country.

ALFIO A MUSUMECI, Home Hill.
