To all the do gooders who want the age of criminal responsibility raised from 10 years of age to 14 years, a 13 year old allegedly driving a stolen vehicle has been charged with 3 counts of alleged dangerous driving causing death. If you cannot see the lunacy of such a change of law, then you luvvies, the Palaszczuk govt’s soft on juvenile offenders laws, and the scumbag juvenile criminals themselves, are all equally part of the problem. PEDRO CRANBROOK Just when you think all reporting is bad news, watch today’s (1/5) Landline....a two part series on outback kids putting on a musical! 84 students from Longreach school of Distance Education (twice the size of Victoria!) have spent a year rehearsing a school musical Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies.... ONLINE! It’s uplifting and shows how beautifully resilient and persistent the kids from the outback are. A good news story. FINALLY! Can’t wait for the second part. Kerry West End.

A young beautiful mother controls her young children’s device connectivity with the flick of a switch in a swish citycentre apartment. They all sit down to a nice healthy hearty evening meal. Contrast this with the half - fat immigrant merely trying to watch highlights of the English Premier League through the Optus sport app on his TV, before retiring to bed extremely early for a 12-hour shift in the pit tomorrow The only action on the screen is the revolving blue circle indicating very slow or non-existent Wi-fi connection. He actually only recently transferred to the telco beginning with T because the telco beginning with O couldn’t even be arsed to PRETEND to supply coverage to his small mining town in the Bowen Basin any longer and cancelled his contract Of course, the telco beginning with T takes his money every month but supply a very inferior service. But they don’t care because there’s only a small number of customers there, so they can’t be bothered supplying an effective service either. He should really just be grateful that he can make a phone call back to the big smoke across the Burdekin river. “Australia is why” indeed!! Dave Paske Collinsville
