Men allegedly steal bank card and head for adult store
North Queensland police are hunting two men with a penchant for pain after they allegedly used a stolen cash card to buy a whip from a sex store during a wild Townsville shopping spree that was captured on camera.
Receipts obtained by News Corp reveal the fetishist fraudsters spent a total of $173.75 at Sweethearts Adult Shop on Charters Towers Road, including $53.95 for the “big pleaser whip”, $49.95 on herbal erection pills and $36.95 on a 120ml bottle of salted cara
mel lubricant.
The pair also a purchased BJ Blast candy that pops and fizzes during oral sex, during the $2000 spree that involved a dozen businesses in the Hermit Park, Mundingburra area on April 24.
Plain Clothes Constable Andy Kelly of Ingham Police CIB said a wallet belonging to a 59-year-old woman was stolen when her home, on the Bruce Highway south of Ingham, was burgled on April 23.
He said the two men had travelled to Townsville the following day before the victim had realised her debit card had been swiped.
Constable Kelly said the pair had been filmed on CCTV during their spending spree.
He said both men were caucasian, with one being of a slender build and the second having a more heavy set appearance.
Constable Kelly said many of the businesses were on Charters Towers Rd.
The businesses were: The Centenary Hotel, The Sun Hotel, Mundingburra IGA, Cash Converters, Hermit Park News and Casket, Supercheap Auto, Donohues, Freechoice Hermit Park, Hall’s Firearms, Nightowl, 7 Eleven Mundingburra, and Sweethearts Adult Shop.
Kelly said the duo purchased a G-shock watch and Bluetooth speaker at Cash Converters, a remote control or model car at Supercheap Auto, and two caps, an Ariat backpack and a TKK knife at Donohues.
Other purchases included two jet lighters, a grinder set, a gas refill and two cigars from Freechoice and two knives from Hall’s Firearms.
