Volcano downgrade

BALI’S Mount Agung volcano has shown a decreased amount of seismic activity according to Indonesian authorities.

The Government has formally lowered the safety alert for tourists on the back of the news.

Despite the softening of the alert status from Indonesian officials, DFAT has renewed its warning to Australian travellers thinking about holidaying in Bali, stating the volcano “continues to show volcanic activity”.
