Canada rail boost

VIA Rail has revealed it will be adding a 10th round-trip between Toronto and Ottawa, bringing its total weekday departures to 20 between the two cities.

“On this popular segment... travellers have increased by 40% since 2014,” said VIA Rail president & chief executive officer Yves Desjardins-Siciliano.
