Jetstar inks Travelport deal
JETSTAR Group has signed a new multi-year deal with Travelport, providing nearly 70,000 travel agencies globally with access to content of all four carriers - Jetstar Airways, Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Pacific and Jetstar Japan.
The arrangement will see Jetstar Group utilise Travelport’s Rich Content & Branding merchandise solution, enabling all four airlines to display their branded fares and ancillary content.
Travelport vice pres Asia Pacific and global sales strategy, air commerce Damian Hickey said that according to the LCC’s recent research, “over 70% of travellers globally still look to travel professionals, like travel agents, for recommendations before making travel bookings”.
