Expedia TAAP reported a near record month with terrific trading through November. A huge 990 different destinations were booked through Expedia TAAP agents in AU. The top ten destinations booked were Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Singapore, Gold Coast, London, Perth, Adelaide, Hong Kong and Cairns. Auckland, Hobart, Bali and Canberra were just outside the top 10.

UK showed great growth along with Hong Kong and New Zealand. China, Vietnam, Greece and Fiji showed strong growth on the country list.

Regionally this month, EMEA was up to 20% market share. OCEANIA up 1% to 37%, USA down 1 to 9% while Asia was down 1 to 33% of the destination mix.

An ever growing percentage of bookings are being booked via the fabulous Package Rates through TAAP in conjunction with the fabulous airfares in the market.

Some of the out of the way destinations last month included Tajikistan, Guianas Suriname, Minsk Belarus and Lodz Poland.
