Brett joins CTM

JON Brett has been appointed to Corporate Travel Management’s (CTM) board as a non-executive Director.

Effective from 31 Jan, the appointment is part of CTM’s ongoing board and governance renewal process

Luxury safari travel brand Singita has appointed Christine Cheng as Sales Manager for South-East Asia. Cheng brings 15 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry to the role, and has represented brands such as Aman, Baglioni and Shangri-La.

Karl Peterson has been elected as Chairman of the board for Sabre Corporation after Larry Kellner stepped down from the position on Tue. Peterson has been a member of the board for more than a decade and is also a Managing Partner of TPG Pace Group. He has also been appointed to replace Kellner as Chairman of the Board’s Governance and Nominating Committee and Executive Committee at Sabre. Alaska Airlines has promoted several of its leaders, including Sangita Woerner to SVP of Marketing and Guest Experience and Charu Jain to a new role as Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Innovation Guest Experience. Vikram Baskaran will succeed Jain as the Vice President of Information Technology Services and Kyle Levine has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Legal and General Counsel. Travel and event management company TAG has announced the appointment of Justine Liddelow as Director of Commercial, USA. Liddleow has over 25 years’ experience in the travel industry, including several previous leadership roles.

Aurora Expeditions has welcomed Annabel Carroll to its team as PR Manager. Carroll joins from Polkadot PR, where she worked on accounts such as The Mulia, Hostelworld and The Empire State Building.
