One of the core values behind ReadyRooms is the concept that our ‘Customers are at the core’ of everything we do. That means many things to us. It means running a sustainabl­e, long term business, working with suppliers and third parties that we know will deliver quality services to the travellers, having a support team to help agents increase their business, and most importantl­y actively seeking and taking feedback through looking at how agents use our system. We do all this so we can better understand and deliver on their needs and so agents can book us with trust. Last month we ran a series of agent engagement sessions. Our technical team and sales team sat with groups of agents to see how they use the system, what they love and what they would like to see enhanced. We’ve carried out these sessions at regular intervals and I believe they are one of the best ways for us to focus our efforts to provide the best further efficiency gains to their workflows.

What is most interestin­g about these sessions are the surprises that pop-up. Sometimes the things we thought were important to focus on turn out not to be and sometimes agents identify new or different ideas that would make meaningful difference­s to their productivi­ty. These latest sessions delivered both these kinds of ideas and as before, they were incredibly useful to our business. We’re using these ideas to shape the year to come.
