Thredbo gets Frank

AUS­TRALIA’S old­est liv­ing Olympian Frank Pri­hoda (pic­tured) has been hon­oured at Thredbo this week, with The Tors run be­ing re­named af­ter the for­mer alpine skier.

On the oc­ca­sion of Pri­hoda’s 99th birth­day, Frank’s Face came into ex­is­tence, an in­ter­me­di­ate run from Aus­tralia’s high­est lifted point, and sand­wiched be­tween Karel’s T Bar and Sasha’s Schuss, which are named af­ter his sis­ter and brother-in-law re­spec­tively.
