Having the right equipment is such an important factor in enabling a wider range of customers including those with limited dexterity to drive safely and with the best possible driving experience we can offer.

Avis Hand Control Cars have been fitted with the Fadiel Italiana Ergonomic Radial Accelerator and Brake Lever. This is a quality hand control designed for operation with limited dexterity and easily operated by those with dexterity also. The vehicles can be driven with either the regular foot control or the hand control, making it easy to share the drive between passengers.

We have the Kia Stonic and the Renault Koleos fitted with this hand control equipment. These SUVs are equipped with the modern conveniences of smart cruise control, reversing cameras and smartphone connectivity. We've made sure the cost of rental for hand control cars is the same as the equivalent standard car group.
