NEW ADVENTURES AT PIXAR PLACE
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel has been transformed into the first-ever fully Pixar themed hotel in the United States. Pixar Place is a 15-storey high-rise hotel overlooking Disney California Adventure Park, featuring the artistry of Pixar Animation Studios and upgraded amenities throughout.
Pixar Place envelops guests in the fantasy and artistry of their favourite Pixar films, including Finding Nemo, Inside Out, Soul, and more. Find Joe Gardner playing piano in the lobby, take photos with Bing Bong, check out early sketches of your favourite animated scenes, and marvel at the large sculpture of the Pixar Lamp balancing atop its ball floating from a skylight.
“The transformation of Pixar Place Hotel is a demonstration of how we're creating high-quality guest experiences infused with our most popular stories,” says Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock.
The hotel's 479 comfortable and contemporary guest rooms incorporate whimsical nods to Pixar animations with world-class fixtures and amenities. The colourful Coco Suite pays tribute to Miguel and his family's legacy with vibrant Oxacan art, while the Incredibles Suite features family memorabilia with a spy-fi twist.
As with all Disney locations, accessibility is a priority in both design and service. The Pixar Place Hotel has accessible travel paths, wheelchair-accessible and hearing-accessible rooms, TTY equipment available upon request, and mobility equipment rental available.
The reimagining of the beloved Paradise Pier building has allowed Disney to upgrade the dining and entertainment facilities, including a renovated fitness centre and new modern American culinary offerings from Great Maple (breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily). The new rooftop recreation area is an oasis for relaxation and recreation; play in the Pixel Pool or the Pixar Shorts Court by day, then gather on plush couches to watch the fireworks at night.
Booking a stay at Pixar Place gets you a lot of magical Disney benefits, such as early entry to the theme parks (beat the queues!) through a dedicated entrance.
