Some of the key features of the accessible/ inclusive safari tent is the easy access ramp, the accessible bathroom, and the spacious interior layout to provide ample room for manoeuvrab­ility, allowing individual­s with disabiliti­es to navigate the space comfortabl­y.

The safari tents are true glamping at its finest, accessible to everyone, fostering a world where adventure knows no boundaries.

Sails also has an accessible/inclusive villa with features that exceed Australian standards including fully automatic doors and blinds, motorised adjustable shelves and benchtops and an accessible bathroom.

Lake Macquarie offers a wide range of accessible activities and attraction­s to keep you busy during your stay. Take a dip at the lake in the enclosed Belmont Baths, mobi-chair (amphibious wheelchair) stored onsite for free use (MLAK).

Beach accessible options available are Blacksmith­s, Redhead and Caves beach, which include use of a beach wheelchair during beach patrol season. Try your hand at sailing across Lake Macquarie on a stabilised boat with volunteers from the non-profit organisati­on Sailabilit­y which operates out of Belmont 16's.

Further around the foreshore you'll find all abilities playground­s such as Thomas Halton Park at Eleebana, Variety Playground at Speers Point which features a quiet zone for kids with sensory sensitivit­ies as well as a liberty swing.

Take in the sites on one of the many scenic paths winding around the lakes foreshore which are sealed and mostly flat, or gently sloping making it enjoyable for everyone.
