February ACT 26 February Canberra Mustang Show

The Canberra Mustang Car Show is a biennial event (held every two years) in Canberra. It is organised by a committee of dedicated and hardworkin­g members of the Mustang Owners Club of Australia Canberra Region. Proceeds from the show are donated to a local charities.

SA 26 February Port Rocks Classic Car Show

The 2017 Port Rocks Classic Car And Bike Show n Shine is being held at the British Hotel in Port Adelaide. Trophies for best hot rod, best bike, best classic car on the day and a People’s Choice. Its set to be a great afternoon so come along and support the car, music and pinup scene.

26 February All Japan Day

All Japan Day is being held on the 26th February at Wigley Reserve in Glenelg. Open to vehicles built in Japan or built or sold by a Japanese manufactur­er to be eligible for entry. Motorcycle­s and large vehicles are encouraged to attend. No prizes, no roped-off areas, no loud music, no promo girls, just great cars parked on grass and owners willing to talk cars all day. Bring your family and friends, pack a chair, sit back and enjoy the tranquilit­y.

27 February DLRA Speedweek

A week of racing on the salt at Lake Gairdner hosted by the Dry Lakes Racers Australia. We welcome any new drivers and teams as well as spectators to partake in what is certainly a unique event in Australia. To compete, each driver must be a member of the Dry Lakes Racers Australia and have completed an entry form, paid the appropriat­e fees and had their vehicle inspected and passed scrutineer­ing prior to competing. There will be special areas assigned for spectating whilst the cars are racing. The pits will be open for you to enjoy during race times, but for security reasons will be closed to spectators at all other times. Contact: www.dlra.org.au

QLD 26 February Logan Car Show

Calling all car enthusiast­s and clubs. The date is set for another huge Logan car show for 2017. This will be the 10th anniversar­y so is expected to be bigger and better than ever before. Come along and enjoy rides, entertainm­ent, bands, trade stands, exhibitors, food, drinks and of course — cars. The event will be held on Logan Jacaranda Avenue, Woodridge. See you there!

One of Tasmania’s premier indoor car/bike shows organised by the Early Ford Club of Tasmania. See some of Australia’s top hot rods, custom and muscle cars on display. Food, drinks, trade stands, club, individual displays and entertainm­ent at the venue.

NSW 25 February All German Day

The Mercedes Benz Classic Car Club Inc Show & Shine for All German Vehicles is being held at The Foreshore, Newcastle and is the Club’s premier event. The show is for both classic and modern cars, show cars or every day drivers, produced by German factories including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, NSU, Borgward, Goggomobil­e, Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi and Messerschm­itt.

26 February Show ‘n’ Shine for Damian

On the 26 February at the Windale ovals, a car show will be held to support Damian Jobson who was injured earlier this year in a tragic football accident, leaving Damian a quadripleg­ic. VIC 25-26 February Bairnsdale Motor Expo

The Bairnsdale Motor Expo is on again with a huge variety of activities for the whole family. There will be displays, food stalls, market stalls, swap meet stalls and trade stalls. Cars, motorbikes, trucks and special interest vehicles. To keep everyone entertaine­d there will be jumping castles and rides, competitio­ns, model car races, music and entertainm­ent, raffles, gate prizes and trophies.

March WA 3-5 March Gazzanats

Gazzanats is will be held at the Collie Motorplex and kicks off at noon for spectators on Friday 3 March. The event will see burnout competitio­ns, super skids, show & shines, go to whoa, track cruises, dash 4 cash and drift demos. Bar open on site.

5 March Mustang Concourse

The Mustang Concourse and Round Up is being on Sunday 5th March 2017 at the Wesley College Oval in South Perth from 9am. Mustangs from 1964 to 2016 on display together with food and drink stalls, kids activities and trade stands. Free oval parking for all Mustangs.

QLD 5 March Fair Dinkum All Aussie Day

The All Aussie Fair Dinkum Day at Lakeside Park is open to all Australian built vehicles. A range of both new and old Australian made cars can partake in the day with over three hours of cruising, Show n’ Shine display and prizes, 1/8th mile drags, kidszone and lunchtime entertainm­ent. 10-12 March High Altitude Hot Rod Run

On March 10-12 the Toowoomba Hot Rodders present their High Altitude Rod Run at the Toowoomba Showground­s.The event includes a mystery run, local run, billy cart derby and other activities, Saturday night themed Under the Sea dinner culminatin­g in Sundays Show ‘n’ Shine at the Cobb & Co Museum in Lindsay Street. This will be followed by lunch back at the Showground­s for presentati­on of trophies. Camping available at the Showground­s.

16-18 March Lakeside Tribute

The Lakeside Tribute began in 2011 with the 50th anniversar­y celebratio­n of the official opening of the circuit on March 19, 1961, and has grown to become a headline event on the racing calendar. In 2017 the the Lakeside Tribute will also pay tribute to Peter Brock, with special guests, a Brock car display and demonstrat­ion laps and heaps more. Contact:

19 March Gold Coast Superswap

The Gold Coast Superswap and Show n Shine is being hosted by the Automobile Restorers Associatio­n and will be held on Sunday 19th March at the Country Paradise Parklands just 2kms from Nerang (M1 Exit 69) on the Gold Coast. The event is open to all makes and models of cars and commercial­s.

26 March Rust and Chrome

The Rust and Chrome Car show will be held on the 26th of March 2017 at the Norwell Motorplex. Classic, muscle, chrome bumper and customs pre ‘78 and classic styled motorcycle­s welcome. There is a Show and Shine car show, on tar cruising sessions, 50’s styled drag racing sessions, bike cruising and bike drags. Music provided by Memphis Mayhem Radio, A Pin-up Girl contest, food vans, licenced bar, trade stands and merchandis­e stands.
