A 50 year old Ford Falcon wagon dubbed by many as Australia’s rarest car. A 1970 XY Falcon is the only model Ford ever made to Feature 6 Doors, 3 on each side and is said to be in immaculate condition. Often referred to as the Holy Grail for Blue Oval fans, the vehicle was a special order fulfilled by Ford for TAA airlines in Tasmania who requested a courtesy limousine to shuffle VIP guests. The 6 door 1970 Falcon is a one-off vehicle manufactur­ed in 1970 it is the only 6 door XY Falcon ever created. The vehicle is even rarer then one of 3 surviving Ford GTHO phase iv. The most recent of which recently fetched an eye watering $1030,000 at a 2018 auction. This Ford XY Falcon wagon embodies collectabi­lity and could be the rarest car ever manufactur­ed in Australia. It’s the Holy Grail for Ford fans the only one of its kind and it is in immaculate condition. Under the bonnet is a purring 8 cylinder 351 Cleveland engine, it also comes standard with full Fairmont trim T Bar automatic transmissi­on. Has GT Dash and steering wheel and top of the range Pioneer CD DVD player. The story behind this car is just as special as the car itself, winning numerous awards and featuring in Auto magazines all around Australia, it has received great attention already. Fastidious­ly restored from the ground up I left nothing untouched over 8 years has an eight foot Chrome roof rack 9 inch diff and - four-wheel disc brakes. Has XD power steering, factory integrated air conditioni­ng. Also includes rear venetians. Five 18 inch 150 spoke wire wheels.
