#C400 FORD FALCON XW GTHO PHASE 1

Muscle Car Warehouse are excited to offer for sale this Falcon XW GTHO Phase 1. Originally built in August of 1969 and sold new through Cooper Ford in Frankston, Victoria to a dentist who was also from Frankston. The car then passed through two more owners and then onto the fourth and current owner who purchased the car in 1999. During its current ownership the original engine was removed so that it could be preserved and the addition of the bonnet blackouts as it was originally ordered without them. The Reef Green paint has been redone along with the Saddle interior by a previous owner and is testament to the work that has been done as the car still presents beautifully. All the badging, mouldings and chrome work are also still in excellent condition. The car is currently running a replacement 351 Windsor engine, stroked to 393 which consists of an 850 Holley carburettor, Edelbrock inlet manifold, Edelbrock aluminium heads, MSD ignition and a solid lifter cam. The original Top Loader gearbox has been rebuilt to factory specifications and the original 9” diff has been upgraded and now houses a Detroit Locker centre with 3.25 gear ratios. Please note that the complete original matching number engine is included with the sale. Also still displaying the number plates with the original lettering and numbers. Mileage currently shows approximately 53,000. This GTHO is a great example of this model and is ready to be enjoyed and an ideal entry level car to the GTHO market.
