1965 FORD MUSTANG

-

IT’S A SAD FACT but 65 grand doesn’t buy you a whole lot of Mustang these days. Anything even remotely rare or noteworthy tends to push the prices towards six figures, so it was with a glint in my eye that I chanced upon this gem. Okay, so it’s ‘just’ a ‘65 2+2 with a 289, but you need to look at the thing. I’m fussy, but this is a clean motor. It was restored in the States to show standard and has been over here for three years, in which time it’s been awarded a Silver grading in the Original Class at the 2015 Mustang Owners Club of NSW state concours.
