CAN WE BE FRANK?

-

I had a serious moment of deja vu reading ‘Lost or Lucky’ in last month’s UniqueCars. I too had a Nissan Pulsar GTi-R that got away from me a bit on a gravel track. I smacked a gum tree pretty hard in the Otways and knocked a koala out of it. The bear looked to have no significant structural defects but the car was totalled. The sequence of hairpins went oversteer (hero), four wheel drift (squeaky bum), terminal understeer (fail), tree. Frank Allen Aireys Inlet

ED The only experience we’ve had of a Pulsar GTi-R is Andy blowing up a gearbox when we went to buy a ropey one years ago. Sounds like he got off light.
