HOLMAN WHO?
HOLMAN MOODY is one of the most celebrated names in US racing and has been associated with some of the greatest cars and drivers of the last 50 years.
John Holman, who was running Ford’s racing operation, and driver Ralph Moody joined forces in 1957 after Ford briefly pulled out of racing, leaving its factory drivers with a car, transporter and spares. After Ford reentered racing a year later, HM became one of its key factory development teams and engine builders, with success in drag racing, sportscars, CanAm and NASCAR. Since 1991, HM has been building new GT40 MkIIs based on original Ford blueprints and specs.
